BNARI is a research and technology transfer institution that provides cutting edge solutions through use of biotechnology and nuclear technologies for the development of elite crop varieties, production of healthy planting materials for farmers, protection of crops and livestock, reduction of post-harvest food losses, enhancement of the safety of food and health-care delivery. Our reason for pursuing these technologies is their inherent potential to accelerate the realization of food security in a world challenged by poverty, hunger and malnutrition. As a socially-responsible entity, the deployment of these technologies is done in a safe and responsible manner.
